The new generation OLEDs are using graphene which is a highly conductive material. It is lightweight, transparent and extremely strong. A number of scientists see graphene as the basis for a new generation of electronics. This is mostly due to its power and also the fact that it can be crumpled and bended appeals right away. While researchers continue to develop the first thin, foldable computer, a breakthrough has been made with OLEDs needed to power such a device. None other than graphene.
