Janet Lennox Moyer returns to Boston 16 years after her presentation at New England Grows. The landscape lighting world has been turned upside down since that time. Jan will discuss how LEDs disrupted our way of lighting and how they continue to affect changes in landscape lighting – giving us options we never had previously and challenging us to be very careful how we proceed. As usual, landscape lighting is a feast for the eyes.
Jan wrote the internationally acclaimed The Landscape Lighting Book, now in its 3rd edition, which examines the disruptive technology of LEDs, how it is changing lighting and what to look for in the future. Jan’s commitment to sharing her knowledge and striving to raise the bar for the landscape lighting industry led her to create the non-profit entity the International Landscape Lighting Institute<, an educational 501(c)(3) public charity with the mission to preserve and share information about landscape lighting.
